From Eurapo, an innovative UV-C ray sanitising system that works on the surface of the heat exchanger.
UV-C LED is the new system developed by Eurapo to meet growing demands for hygiene and safety. The system can even be easily retrofitted on all Eurapo fan coil units and consists in a UV-C ray LED light that works on the surface of the heat exchanger battery, improving the quality of the air going into the room from the appliance. This idea is based on the tried and tested effectiveness of UV-C rays to sterilise surfaces and rooms for the medical and food sectors as well as in laboratories and many other contexts.
Why has Eurapo chosen to use LED technology? Because it offers better performances and tangible advantages compared to traditional ones: more stable and longer emissions; low quantities of heat generated on the external surface and total absence of mercury and other harmful substances; it requires less maintenance and its effectiveness depends a lot less on the temperature of the room the convector is installed in.
