High pressure ducted unitsEDS

HIGH PRESSURE DUCTED UNIT, FOR HEATING AND COOLING, DOUBLE SKIN PANELS, 2 PIPES, CAPACITY FROM 1,12 kW TO 30,13 kW. EDS high pressure ducted units, thanks to their high pressure fan decks, permit to satisfy every request of heating and cooling applications in big environments, where ducted air distribution is requested. They are suitable for horizontal installation. The double skin structure is composed by insulated 25 mm thick panels, colour RAL9002, and aluminium supporting frame. These are units for COOLING and HEATING applications and have been designed for temperatures up to 100 °C. When you want to connect this high pressure unit to a condensing unit in COOLING mode, it must be ordered with a direct expansion coil (optional upon request, except for sizes 060÷070). The EDS high pressure ducted units are also available for District Cooling applications: the water coils are designed with a reduced number of circuits, suitable for functioning with high water temperature difference. FEATURES: • 9 SIZES for horizontal ducted installation, 2 pipe system. • HIGH PRESSURE: they are designed for ducted installation with external static pressure up to 300 Pa. • DOUBLE SKIN STRUCTURE is composed by insulated 25 mm thick panels, colour RAL9002, and aluminium supporting frame. • HEAT EXCHANGERS can have 2, 3 or 4 rows, made by copper pipes and aluminium fin pack; 5-row coils are available for sizes 060 and 070. Up to size 050 all coils are provided with air vent valves. For sizes 060 and 070 of the EBH model, the air vent valve is supplied only with the valve kit (optional). • NOT REVERSIBLE WATER CONNECTIONS: EDS units can be ordered with right (standard) or left water connections. • FAN DECK is composed by a 3 speed motor and two centrifugal galvanized steel scrolls. All motors are provided with a permanently connected capacitor and thermal protection of the windings with automatic reset. • CONDENSATE TRAY is realized in galvanized steel with water discharge pipe located on the water connections’ side. • AIR FILTER consists of a washable polyester acrylic fibre, pleated and protected by a metal frame. The filter section can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance. Filtration class G3. • ELECTRIC PANEL is composed by a terminal board with screw terminals contained in a high protection box (IP44). A supporting relay is supplied as standard starting from size 040. • 4 BRACKETS are supplied along with the unit, to fix it to the ceiling.

    EDS VALVE

    KPC EBH/EDS

    The condensate pump is necessary when the traditional water discharge is not allowed.
    It is always supplied separately.
    The power of the pump is different for the different models where it has to be installed.

    KPM/PA EDS

    The air delivery plenum is made of galvanized steel sheet, provided with spigots for the connection to the air ducts and with fixing supports.
    It must be installed on the air outlet of the unit.
    On the sides of the plenum there are pre-arranged holes that can be used when frontal spigots must be moved to side position.

    Microprocessor control, for "on wall" installation, designed for water terminal units equipped with Brushless motors (EST Inverter Technology): SV, SV/AF, PV, PV/AF, SVR.
    It permits to control the type of ventilation (fan thermostated or fan continuously running) the fan speeds (0-10V or Auto), SUMMER/WINTER switch and room temperature thermostat.

    EST

    The brushless electric motor is composed by a rotor having permanent magnets, whose magnetic fields interact with the ones producedby the stator winding.
    The transfer of current isno longer by mechanical commutation (sliding contacts) but by an electronic commutation system: one electronic controller (inverter) powers the motor’s stator and generates rotating magnetic fields, that determine the rotor’s speed.

    EDCR

    Microprocessor control, for "on wall" installation, designed for water terminal units equipped with Brushless motors (EST Inverter Technology): SV, SV/AF, PV, PV/AF, SVR.
    It permits to control the type of ventilation (fan thermostated or fan continuously running) the fan speeds (0-10V or Auto), SUMMER/WINTER switch and room temperature thermostat.

    EST

    The brushless electric motor is composed by a rotor having permanent magnets, whose magnetic fields interact with the ones producedby the stator winding.
    The transfer of current isno longer by mechanical commutation (sliding contacts) but by an electronic commutation system: one electronic controller (inverter) powers the motor’s stator and generates rotating magnetic fields, that determine the rotor’s speed.

    CBL10

    Self-extinguishing plastic box (class V0), which contains a 12 pole terminal board and a voltage transformer (230/24 V~ 10VA), for the electrical connection of the modulating valves.
    It is supplied as standard when the regulators CER10, CER30/B and CER31 are requested.

    CBL20

    Self-extinguishing plastic box (class V0), which contains a 12 pole terminal board and a power relay card (230 V~): this card is requested either when an electric heater is mounted on the fancoil unit or to control the fan speeds in Master/Slave configuration. It can be combined with the following regulators: CMR00, CER00 and CER20

    CBL30

    Self-extinguishing plastic box (class V0), which contains a 12 pole terminal board, a voltage transformer (230/24 V~ 10 VA) for the electrical connection of the modulating valves and/or 24V~ controls, a power relay card (24 V~), which is requested to control the fan speeds in Master/Slave configuration.
    It can be combined with the following regulators: CER10, CER31, CER00 and CER20 (with power supply 24 V).

    CSROO

    Remote controller, suitable only for the fan speed selection of a unit (fancoil, cassette, blower) installed in 2 pipe systems.
    The controller is provided with terminals for the connection of the minimum water temperature thermostat (TM) and of a remote thermostat (mod. TAD10).
